Tortoise S. r. l. secures €39.8 million for Florence luxury project

Tortoise S. r. l., an Italian real estate investment firm, has secured a €39.8 million mortgage from UniCredit to renovate Palazzo Rimbotti in Florence. Located in Piazza degli Antinori near Via de’ Tornabuoni, the historic building will undergo a transformation to preserve its architectural heritage while introducing modern luxury hospitality standards.

The project will maintain ground-floor retail spaces and convert the upper floors into 17 branded residences. These high-end units will be associated with a major international luxury hospitality brand and will feature dedicated services, including wellness areas, a spa, fitness spaces, and lounges designed to meet international luxury standards.
