Torun hosts cultural events as Żabka launches poster contest

Torun is hosting a variety of cultural events, including the seventh edition of GrafConf, a conference for the creative industry focused on graphic design, web design, and illustration. The city's schedule also features the Young Theatre Festival at WOAK, jazz performances by Jerzy Mazzoll and the Metro Jazz Ensemble, and a punk rock festival featuring the band Moskwa.

In business and art news, the retailer Żabka has launched the second edition of its poster competition titled ‘Żabka biznes na dzień dobry’. Open to artists and designers until October 20, 2026, the contest seeks creative interpretations of entrepreneurship. A jury led by renowned poster artist Andrzej Pągowski will evaluate submissions, with the winning design set to be displayed in Żabka stores starting in 2027.
