Torvehallerne to host free pheasant plucking workshop

Torvehallerne will host a free workshop on Saturday, October 17, from 11:00 to 14:00, focused on teaching participants how to pluck a pheasant. Led by hunter Mette-Karin Petersen, the event aims to educate both children and adults on the journey of food from animal to meal.

Participants will learn to prepare the birds, and those who complete the task can take a pheasant home for dinner. Additionally, Peter from Fremus in the Woods will prepare pheasant samples over an open fire to share culinary experiences related to outdoor cooking.
