Toshiba Lifestyle Malaysia launches breastfeeding awareness initiative

Toshiba Lifestyle Malaysia has launched the ‘Empowering Every Mother’s Journey’ initiative in observance of World Breastfeeding Month 2026. The program aims to raise awareness regarding breastfeeding and provide practical support, expert insights, and community care to help mothers navigate the physical and emotional challenges of the process.

The event was officiated by Yeo Bee Yin, Chairperson of the Parliament Select Committee for Women, Children and Community Development, who highlighted the necessity of collaboration between the private sector, healthcare professionals, and families to create a supportive environment for mothers and newborns. The initiative included a panel discussion featuring lactation expert Elizabeth Richard and wellness advocate Natasha Hudson to discuss the realities of breastfeeding.
