Tosyalı Holding breaks ground on vocational high school in İskenderun

At the 2nd International İskenderun Iron and Steel Symposium organized by İskenderun Technical University, AK Party Deputy Chairman Hüseyin Yayman emphasized the necessity of digitalization and artificial intelligence in the industrial sector. Highlighting the rise of automation and 'dark factories' in China, Yayman noted that Turkey currently ranks first in Europe and seventh globally in iron and steel production.

During the event, the foundation stone for the Fuat Tosyalı Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School was laid. This investment aims to address the need for skilled labor in the region, offering students internship and on-the-job training opportunities within Tosyalı Holding's global operations. Yayman stressed the importance of investing in human resources and education to prepare the youth for long-term national goals, suggesting that vocational curricula should include branches such as computer science and artificial intelligence.

Fuat Tosyalı, Chairman of Tosyalı Holding, remarked that while industrial investments are exciting, social investments in education provide a unique sense of fulfillment.
