Total Chaos to receive virtual reality edition for Steam and Meta Quest

Apogee Entertainment and developer Trigger Happy Interactive have announced a virtual reality edition of the survival horror game Total Chaos. Revealed during the VR Games Showcase, the adaptation is being developed for Steam VR and Meta Quest platforms.

The VR version will not be a simple direct conversion. It will feature rebalanced gameplay, including adjusted item locations, resource distribution, and modified campaign sections designed specifically for the pace and interaction of virtual reality. Players will continue to explore Fort Oasis, an abandoned island featuring mining ruins, while managing inventory, crafting weapons, and facing creatures.

Existing owners of the original game on Steam will receive the Steam VR edition at no additional cost. A standalone version is also in development for Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest 3S, which will be available through the Meta Horizon Store. Specific release dates and pricing for the VR editions have not yet been announced.
