Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario's Juventus move stalls over price
Tottenham Hotspur are seeking a permanent transfer for goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario, setting an asking price of €15‑20 million. Juventus consider the fee too high, partly because they already have goalkeepers Mattia Perin and Michele Di Gregorio and are focusing on a deal for Emiliano Martínez. As a result, any loan move has been ruled out by Spurs, who only entertain a full sale.
Vicario, who expressed a desire to return to Serie A, has been surplus to requirements after a hernia operation and losing his place to Antonín Kinský. With Juventus’ interest waning in favor of Martínez, the Italian’s move to Turin looks unlikely in the immediate window, leaving Tottenham to continue searching for a buyer.
