Tottenham Hotspur chase Tonali and Rashford in major transfer push
Tottenham Hotspur have already reinforced their squad by signing Andy Robertson, Marcos Senesi and Jan Paul van Hecke. The club lodged an £80 million offer for Newcastle United midfielder Sandro Tonali, which was turned down as Newcastle hold out for around £100 million and may consider swap deals involving players such as Guglielmo Vicario, Lucas Bergvall or Richarlison.
Spurs are also linked with Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford, reportedly valued at about £40 million, adding to their ambition to build a squad capable of challenging for Champions League places. The reported interest in both Tonali and Rashford underscores Tottenham’s aggressive summer recruitment under manager Roberto De Zerbi.
