Tottenham Hotspur considering sale of Destiny Udogie
Tottenham Hotspur may be willing to sell left-back Destiny Udogie if a “huge” offer is received, according to reports from Football Insider. While the 23-year-old is considered a key player when fit, persistent injury issues have hampered his availability.
Udogie has missed approximately 36 matches for club and country over the last three years due to various fitness problems. Most recently, he was sidelined with knee discomfort following a match against Manchester United. This has led head coach Roberto De Zerbi to manage his playing time carefully, with summer signing Andy Robertson currently ahead in the left-back pecking order.
The club’s potential willingness to entertain offers could also serve to balance the books following a summer spending spree exceeding £300m. Although the sale might go against De Zerbi’s wishes, the club appears open to a significant proposal in the future.
