Tottenham Hotspur conclude pre-season with matches against Hoffenheim

Tottenham Hotspur concluded their pre-season preparations with two matches against German side TSG Hoffenheim. In the first fixture held at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Spurs secured a 3-0 victory. Richarlison opened the scoring in the 35th minute following an assist from Andy Robertson, while 19-year-old Mikey Moore scored twice in the second half after receiving assists from Mathys Tel.

The second match, played behind closed doors at the club's training ground, ended in a 2-2 draw. Adam Hlozek scored a penalty for Hoffenheim, while Ben Davies and Luca Williams-Barnett provided the goals for Tottenham. The match served as a fitness test for a rotated squad, featuring the first start for James Maddison in nearly a year following his recovery from a knee injury.

Despite the positive results and the return of players like Mateus Fernandes, Rodrigo Bentancur, and Pape Matar Sarr, concerns remain regarding the absence of Micky van de Ven, Destiny Udogie, and Dominic Solanke ahead of the Premier League opener against Brentford.
