Tottenham Hotspur eye Champions League push under De Zerbi, says Sherwood

Former Tottenham manager Tim Sherwood said the club could become a Champions League contender next season under Roberto De Zerbi. He highlighted the club’s recent wage‑cap increase and the signing of Sandro Tonali as signals that Spurs are now able to attract higher‑level players.

Sherwood also weighed in on the striker dilemma, noting Richarlison’s 11‑goal contribution last season and suggesting Dominic Solanke could be given a chance. While he did not rule out a new forward, Sherwood expressed confidence that De Zerbi will find the right option, even from unconventional sources, to bolster the attack.
