Barcelona sporting director Deco has held fresh talks with the agents of Tottenham centre‑back Cristian Romero. Tottenham have set a €60 million asking price, while Barcelona hope to reach an agreement around €50 million. Romero has expressed a desire to leave, preferring a move to La Liga.
Tottenham are also targeting Dinamo Zagreb defender Sergi Domínguez as a potential replacement. The 21‑year‑old is reported to cost about €15 million and could add depth to a defensive unit that underperformed last season.
