Tottenham Hotspur eyes managerial changes and player sales
Tottenham Hotspur is reportedly considering several changes to its squad and coaching staff amid recent performance struggles. The club has significantly reduced the asking price for left-back Destiny Udogie. Previously valued at approximately £25.9 million, the 23-year-old Italian defender could potentially be transferred for around £12.8 million. Juventus is monitoring the situation, though a January transfer is not yet certain. Udogie's reduced standing follows injuries and increased competition following the arrival of Andrew Robertson.
Simultaneously, pressure is mounting on manager Roberto De Zerbi. While Tottenham CEO Vinai Venkatesham has expressed confidence in De Zerbi's ability to improve results, speculation regarding his replacement continues. The club is reportedly considering Arne Slot, the former Liverpool manager who won the Premier League title during his tenure, as a potential successor. This follows a previous unsuccessful attempt by the club to appoint Slot in 2023.
