Tottenham Hotspur eyes Manchester City defender and forward in summer transfer push
Tottenham Hotspur has been linked with two Manchester City players as the club looks to reinforce its squad this summer. Agent Gairat Khasbiullin confirmed that while Tottenham monitored Uzbek centre‑back Abdukodir Khusanov before his €50 million move from RC Lens to City in January 2025, the North London side never progressed beyond casual scouting, with Newcastle United being the only club to hold substantive talks.
Separately, reports indicate Tottenham are also interested in Egyptian winger Omar Marmoush, who joined Manchester City from Eintracht Frankfurt for around £60 million in January 2025. Marmoush, a 2026 World Cup participant, made limited appearances last season and is said to be awaiting clarity from City before deciding on a potential move. Both clubs have not confirmed any negotiations.
