Tottenham Hotspur face transfer interest from Spanish clubs
Tottenham Hotspur is reportedly monitoring several transfer developments involving their defensive lineup. The club has been linked with Barcelona starlet Xavi Espart, a 19-year-old La Masia academy product. Both Tottenham and Arsenal have scouted the versatile full-back, who is also being tracked by Aston Villa, Borussia Dortmund, and Juventus. While Espart has a release clause exceeding €100 million, reports suggest Barcelona might consider offers between €40 million and €50 million plus bonuses.
Simultaneously, Tottenham faces potential challenges in retaining Spanish international Pedro Porro. Both Barcelona and Real Madrid are reportedly monitoring the 27-year-old right-back. Porro, who recently extended his contract with Spurs until 2031, is said to be open to a return to Spain if a concrete approach is made by the Spanish giants. Tottenham is reportedly prepared to demand approximately £75 million to sell the influential defender.
