Tottenham Hotspur fans protest Kolo Muani rumors as club signs Sandro Tonali
Tottenham Hotspur supporters expressed anger after reports that the club had made contact with French forward Randal Kolo Muani. Muani, who spent last season on loan at Spurs, finished with only one goal and one assist in 30 Premier League appearances, prompting fans on social media to label him “dead wood” and urge the club not to waste the transfer window.
At the same time, Tottenham completed a £100 million acquisition of Italian midfielder Sandro Tonali following a competitive bid from other European and Middle‑Eastern clubs. Manager Roberto De Zerbi described Tonali as a “special player”, highlighted his youth development at his hometown club Brescia and noted the midfielder’s clear desire to join Tottenham. The deal raised the club’s summer spending to roughly £230 million across three major signings.
