Tottenham Hotspur manager Roberto De Zerbi faces pressure after winless start

Tottenham Hotspur faces significant pressure regarding manager Roberto De Zerbi following the worst start to a Premier League season in the club's history. Despite a summer expenditure of approximately £400 million on players such as Sandro Tonali and Savio, the team remains winless after five matches and currently sits at the bottom of the table.

Former player Alan Shearer suggested that De Zerbi could face dismissal if the team suffers a heavy defeat in their upcoming match against Manchester United. While De Zerbi was credited with preventing relegation last season, the lack of immediate results has intensified scrutiny.

Speculation regarding potential successors has emerged, with reports suggesting that Arne Slot could be a candidate to lead the club. Analysts note that Slot's attacking style might align with the squad's depth and quality, potentially offering a solution to the current crisis.
