Tottenham Hotspur scouting Cruzeiro goalkeeper Otavio

Tottenham Hotspur and Nottingham Forest are monitoring Cruzeiro goalkeeper Otavio as potential long-term options for their respective squads. The 20-year-old Brazilian international has risen to prominence at Cruzeiro, establishing himself as the first-choice goalkeeper following an injury to veteran Cássio.

Otavio has attracted interest from several European clubs, including Napoli, FC Porto, and Borussia Dortmund. While Cruzeiro has a €100 million (£84 million) release clause in his contract, which was extended until 2031, reports suggest the club may be willing to enter negotiations for an initial fee between €25 million and €30 million.

Following impressive performances in domestic and continental competitions, Otavio recently earned a senior call-up to the Brazil national team, making his debut in a match against Australia.
