Tottenham Hotspur secures season‑long loans for Mason Melia and Mikey Moore

Tottenham Hotspur have arranged two season‑long loan moves for their highly‑rated academy forwards. Lincoln City are set to complete a loan for 18‑year‑old Irish international Mason Melia within the next 48 hours after Tottenham received around 30 enquiries. Melia, who joined Spurs from St Patrick’s Athletic for £1.6 million plus add‑ons, scored three goals in six Premier League 2 matches last season and is expected to add firepower to the Championship side.

In Germany, FC Köln are in advanced talks to take another Tottenham youngster, 18‑year‑old winger Mikey Moore, on a season‑long loan without an option to buy. Tottenham have rejected permanent‑purchase clauses, insisting Moore will return after his spell. Moore, the club’s youngest Premier League debutant and former record‑holder for the youngest scorer in a major European competition, previously enjoyed a successful loan at Rangers, making 47 appearances and scoring seven goals.
