Tottenham Hotspur spends £265m on transfers under De Zerbi

Tottenham Hotspur, after finishing 17th in the 2025‑26 Premier League and narrowly avoiding relegation, have launched an aggressive transfer campaign under new head coach Roberto De Zerbi.

The club has already spent more than £265 million, bringing in Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes for around £100 million each, and adding Andrew Robertson, Marcos Senesi, Jan Paul van Hecke, Martin Dubravka and other players to strengthen defence and midfield.

De Zerbi is also reshaping the forward line. While retaining England international Dominic Solanke, the club is targeting Norway’s Andreas Schjelderup and monitoring other prospects such as Eli Junior Kroupi and free‑agent striker Dusan Vlahovic. Richarlison, who recently obtained British citizenship, prefers to stay at Spurs, though Juventus have shown interest.
