Tottenham Hotspur target PSG winger Ibrahim Mbaye and aim to retain midfielder Pape Matar Sarr

Tottenham Hotspur are monitoring 18‑year‑old Senegalese winger Ibrahim Mbaye, who has impressed for Paris Saint‑Germain with three goals and two assists in 24 league appearances last season. The club could face competition from Aston Villa as Mbaye’s contract runs until 2028, and Spurs are assessing whether he can handle the physical demands of the Premier League.

At the same time, Tottenham have indicated they want to keep midfielder Pape Matar Sarr despite reported interest from Brentford and Galatasaray. The 23‑year‑old has made 141 appearances for the club since joining from FC Metz and logged 2,212 minutes across 37 matches last season. Spurs would only consider a sale if presented with a substantial offer, viewing Sarr as a valuable squad member amid recent midfield signings such as Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali.
