Tottenham Hotspur eyes Spanish winger Barrenetxea and French forward Tel

Tottenham Hotspur are reported to be pursuing Spanish winger Ander Barrenetxea of Real Sociedad. The 24‑year‑old, who recorded four goals and five assists in La Liga last season, is under contract until 2030 with a €75 million release clause. Arsenal are also linked to a £26 million offer for the player, while Tottenham hope the winger would strengthen their flanks after injuries to several wide options.

The club is also linked to French forward Mathys Tel, a 21‑year‑old who joined for £30 million from Bayern Munich last summer. Portuguese side FC Porto have emerged as the leading suitor, with additional interest from Lille, Bournemouth and Eintracht Frankfurt. Tel, who scored four Premier League goals and an assist this season, is reportedly considering a move away from White Hart Lane as Spurs continue to reshape their attacking roster.
