Tottenham Hotspur targets AS Monaco striker Folarin Balogun

Tottenham Hotspur has initiated contact with AS Monaco regarding the transfer of American striker Folarin Balogun. The 25-year-old forward, who scored three goals for the United States during the 2026 World Cup, is reportedly valued at approximately €60 million.

Monaco appears open to a sale, especially following the acquisition of Matthis Abline from Nantes. While Juventus has been linked to the player, reports suggest the €60 million valuation is too high for the Italian club. Tottenham is looking to strengthen its attack, potentially as an alternative or replacement for Richarlison, and is working to stay ahead of competition from other Premier League clubs, including Newcastle United.
