Tottenham targets Julián Álvarez with €130 million bid

Tottenham Hotspur is reportedly preparing a significant transfer bid for Atlético de Madrid forward Julián Álvarez. The potential offer, estimated at 130 million euros, could be presented during the January transfer window.

To incentivize the move, Tottenham may include a release clause that would facilitate a future transfer to FC Barcelona. While Arsenal and Barcelona have also been linked to the Argentine striker, Tottenham is currently the club pursuing a concrete proposal. Atlético de Madrid has not yet officially confirmed its willingness to negotiate.

Separately, Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni has commented on Álvarez’s recent form. Following a period of difficulty at the club level, Scaloni noted that the player performs well with the national team and expressed hope that his international appearances will help him regain his best version for both Argentina and Atlético de Madrid.
