Tottenham Hotspur targets Pavlidis and Tresoldi in striker search

Tottenham Hotspur is actively seeking new attacking options for the January transfer window to address a significant goal-scoring deficit. The club is reportedly targeting two primary strikers: Vangelis Pavlidis and Nicolo Tresoldi.

Benfica striker Vangelis Pavlidis has emerged as a leading target. However, the Portuguese club is expected to demand £85m, matching the striker's release clause, should any club attempt to sign him during the winter market. Pavlidis has maintained strong form this season, recording 15 goals and four assists in 15 appearances for Benfica.

Additionally, AC Milan has joined the pursuit of Club Brugge forward Nicolo Tresoldi, creating competition for Tottenham and Arsenal. Tresoldi, a German U21 international, has seen his market value rise above €50m following a prolific start to the season, including a hat-trick in a Champions League fixture. Brugge previously rejected a €35m offer from AS Roma during the summer.
