Tottenham host Crystal Palace in Premier League London derby

Tottenham Hotspur face Crystal Palace at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as part of the Premier League ninth round. Tottenham, managed by Roberto De Zerbi, enter the match following recent victories against Coventry City and Chelsea, aiming to secure a third consecutive league win.

Despite their recent form, Tottenham faces significant squad challenges. James Maddison and Destiny Udogie are available for selection after recent injury concerns, though Maddison may start on the bench to manage his fitness. However, the squad remains depleted by the absences of Savio, Tosin Adarabioyo, Mykhailo Mudryk, Lucas Bergvall, Xavi Simons, and Wilson Odobert. Additionally, Rodrigo Bentancur is unavailable due to suspension.

Crystal Palace, led by Pierre Sage, currently sits 17th in the league standings. The team is looking to stabilize their form after recent defeats to Newcastle United and Brighton. While Jean-Philippe Mateta is expected to start after being rested for midweek cup action, the squad continues to navigate a difficult period in the standings.
