Tottenham pauses Mikey Moore loan move to FC Köln

Tottenham Hotspur has temporarily paused a proposed season-long loan move for 18-year-old winger Mikey Moore to German Bundesliga side 1. FC Köln. The decision was made to allow head coach Roberto De Zerbi and the technical staff more time to evaluate the player during Tottenham's pre-season preparations.

Moore, who remains under contract with Tottenham until 2030, was included in the squad for a closed-door pre-season friendly against Spanish side Getafe to observe his tactical and physical capabilities. While the move to Köln had reached a full agreement and was structured as a straight loan without an option or obligation to purchase, the final approval rests with De Zerbi.
