Tottenham secures Sandro Tonali amid 2026 summer transfer surge
Italian midfielder Sandro Tonali is set to join Tottenham Hotspur from Newcastle United after the Premier League club met the Magpies' asking price of roughly £100 million (€115.9 m). The deal follows Tottenham’s earlier acquisition of Brighton winger Jan Paul van Hecke for about €60 million (£52 m).
Other European giants are also active: Real Madrid have completed the €55 million transfer of Spanish full‑back Marc Cucurella from Chelsea, while Liverpool will sign Victor Muñoz from Osasuna for €40 million. Bayern Munich are targeting midfielder Ismael Saibari from PSV for around €55 million, and Inter Milan are close to signing right‑back Marco Palestra for €50 million. Additional moves include Jeremy Monga’s agreed terms with Arsenal, Nathaniel Brown’s pending transfer to Bayern Munich, and a rumored £120 million bid by Manchester City for Elliott Anderson.
