Tottori and Fukuoka host various regional festivals and events

Various regional events are scheduled across Tottori and Fukuoka prefectures for early September 2026.

In Tottori, the SHINE UP FES! 2026 will take place at Tottori Flower Corridor on September 5 and 6, featuring artists such as Shonan no Kaze and ME:I. Other local activities include the 24th Kensai! Minsai! Odorin Festival in Chizu Town, the 4th Pear Festival at Togo Pear Sorting Station, and the Kurayoshi Sekigane Satomi Festival.

In Fukuoka, Ohori Park Japanese Garden is hosting a digital art event titled ‘Sekai’ featuring projection mapping. A frozen food themed dining experience is set at the Fukuoka Island City Forum. Additionally, Katsuyama Park in Kitakyushu will host an outdoor cinema event from September 11 to 13, screening films like ‘Mission: Impossible’ on a 400-inch screen. Kurume City will also host a stargazing event at the Fukuoka Prefectural Youth Science Museum.
