Tottus report shows marraqueta is preferred by over 40% of customers
An analysis by Tottus reveals that more than 40% of its customers choose marraqueta when purchasing bread. The traditional bread maintains a privileged position in Chilean households, with 90% of purchases consisting of the traditional freshly baked format.
Consumption patterns show that the product is particularly popular among people aged 41 to 70, and 80% of purchases are in family formats. Geographically, 60% of customers are located in various regions, while one in three is in the Metropolitan Region. Demand intensifies in the afternoon, with half of all purchases occurring between 17:00 and 20:00, coinciding with the traditional 'once' mealtime.
