Toua releases final pre-release single ahead of debut digital album

Artist Toua has released the single ‘If you were my lover. . . ’, serving as the final pre-release track ahead of her first digital album, ‘This is Toua’, scheduled for release on September 16, 2026.

The song is described as a heartbreak track featuring nostalgic piano melodies and a bedroom pop sound. It explores themes of unrequited love and the emotional complexity of remaining in a friendship with someone one has feelings for.

Following the album release, Toua will hold her first solo live performance, ‘Toua 1st LIVE “This is Toua”’, at Zepp Shinjuku in Tokyo on September 20, 2026.
