Toubani Resources reports high-grade gold results at Kobada Project

Toubani Resources has reported high-grade gold assay results from its pre-production infill drilling program at the Kobada Gold Project in southern Mali. The drilling campaign, which included 26,000 meters of reverse circulation drilling, identified significant mineralisation in the northern portion of the existing mineral resource estimate (MRE).

Key drilling highlights include an interval of 44 meters at 3.12 grams per tonne of gold from 164 meters, which contained a 1-meter segment at 33.4 grams per tonne. Other notable results include 58 meters at 1.22 grams per tonne and 6 meters at 3.78 grams per tonne. These findings are intended to improve confidence in the resource model and define mineralised structures more accurately.

The company is currently updating its MRE, with completion expected by the end of Q3 2026. Following this, Toubani plans to update its ore reserve estimate and mine plan in Q4 2026. The company aims to commence mining in early 2027. Exploration and drilling activities are also continuing at the Foroko and Gosso prospects to identify potential near-surface oxide feed for the processing plant.
