Touki Denshou Angel Eyes arrives on PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2

The 1997 PlayStation fighting game Touki Denshou Angel Eyes has been released on modern platforms, including PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. Published by Koei Tecmo and brought to modern hardware by Hamster as part of its Console Archives program, the title is a significant piece of fighting game history.

Originally an arcade title in 1996, the game received a PlayStation port in 1997 that included exclusive story and training modes. While it did not achieve the same commercial success as the Dead or Alive franchise, it served as the first fighting title developed by the studio formerly known as Tecmo.

The new digital release is priced at $11.99 and includes modern quality-of-life improvements such as customizable button layouts, rapid-fire settings, multiple save points, and various screen filters to recreate a nostalgic atmosphere. The game supports single-player and local two-player PvP combat.
