Toulouse and Stade Bordelais clinch French rugby championships

Stade Bordelais’ women’s side secured a historic fourth consecutive French Elite 1 championship, defeating ASM Romagnat 22‑10 at the Aguiléra stadium in Biarritz. The victory marked the first French club to achieve a quadruple of titles, with tries from Axelle Berthoumieu and a strong performance by Morgane Bourgeois. The match also saw veteran Agathe Gérin play her final game, retiring as a champion.

In the men’s Top 14 final, Toulouse overcame Montpellier at the Stade de France to claim another Bouclier de Brennus. After a dominant first half, Toulouse held on through the second period to secure a fourth straight league crown and the 25th title in the club’s history, highlighted by contributions from Antoine Dupont, Peato Mauvaka and Romain Ntamack.
