Toulouse gas leak affects 250 customers

A significant gas leak on the public network in the Lardenne district of Toulouse, France, led to service disruptions for approximately 250 customers. The incident was reported on the evening of Thursday, October 22, following reports of a strong gas odor on Chemin Commandant-Joël-Le-Goff.

Emergency responders from the Haute-Garonne fire service (SDIS 31) and municipal police established a security perimeter and restricted movement in the area to ensure public safety. GRDF technicians were deployed to secure the installations and identify the source of the leak.

Authorities conducted safety readings in nearby residences to rule out immediate risks to the population. GRDF scheduled repairs for Friday, October 23, with the expectation of a return to normal service that same day.
