Toulouse infrastructure projects to cause road closures and traffic disruptions
Toulouse will undergo significant roadwork and infrastructure maintenance throughout October 2026, affecting both the ring road (A620) and local sectors such as Picqué.
On the A620 ring road, nocturnal closures are scheduled for various sections. These include the stretch between the Purpan and Sesquières interchanges, as well as work between Purpan and La Cépière involving the installation of a high-mast signal. Additional nighttime closures will affect the Sesquières junction (A620/M820) and daytime disruptions are expected near the Rangueil exit for noise barrier maintenance.
In the Picqué sector, starting October 5, 2026, a four-month project will renew rainwater and drinking water networks on the Route de Toulouse. This phase will implement one-way traffic systems on the Route de Toulouse and Chemin des Orphelins, with specific detours in place. Public transport services, including certain TBM stops, will be diverted, and residents may experience temporary water service interruptions.
