Toulouse: Man shot dead in Faourette district

A 23-year-old man was shot and killed in the Faourette district of Toulouse early Sunday morning. The victim, who had recently been released from prison and was known to police and judicial services, was struck by multiple bullets, including to the head, near a nursery school.

CCTV footage reportedly shows a vehicle approaching the victim before a shooter exited the car. The vehicle was later found burned. An investigation has been opened into the homicide, with authorities looking into organized crime as a potential factor. The shooter remains at large.
