Toulouse sports clubs face organizational and league status shifts

Toulouse Olympique chief executive Cedric Garcia has expressed confidence that the French rugby league club will maintain its position in the Super League for the 2027 season. Despite receiving only half the funding of rival clubs, the team has remained competitive in the top division. The club is currently focusing on improving its grading across digital, financial, and on-field performance metrics to secure its place in a potential 14 or 15-team competition.

In rugby union news, Stade Toulousain is set to undergo organizational changes following the departure of high-level manager Jérôme Cazalbou at the end of the 2026-2027 season. A former scrum-half for the club, Cazalbou has served as a strategic link between the professional team and youth academy since 2018. His departure follows the previously announced move of Thomas Ramos to Racing 92.
