Tour de Olavarría mountain biking event officially presented

The 7th edition of the Tour de Olavarría, a mountain biking (MTB) event organized by Planet Bike, has been officially presented in Sierras Bayas. The event is scheduled to take place next weekend.

Local officials, including Sports Undersecretary Christian Castañares and Tourism Coordinator Mercedes Silva Quiterio, highlighted the event's ability to stimulate the local economy, specifically benefiting the hospitality and gastronomy sectors. The competition features a challenging nearly 30-kilometer course that traverses trails, quarries, motocross tracks, and rural roads.

Organizers confirmed that more than 330 competitors are registered, arriving from Olavarría, various parts of Buenos Aires province, and the provinces of La Pampa, Córdoba, and Santa Fe. The logistics for the event will be supported by over 100 assistants and marshals.
