Tour de Pologne 2026 launches in Gdynia with new route and global broadcast

The 83rd edition of the Tour de Pologne will run from 3 to 9 August 2026, covering seven stages and a total of about 1 110 km. The race starts in the Baltic port city of Gdynia and finishes with an individual time trial in the Wieliczka Salt Mine, following a "North‑South" theme that moves the peloton from the coast to the south of Poland.

The opening stage is a 234‑km ride from Gdynia to Koszalin, and the route includes flat sprint finishes, a mountain finish on Orlinek in Karpacz and a new uphill finish at Kocierz Resort. A ceremonial team presentation was held aboard the historic destroyer ORP Błyskawica, with Port Gdynia acting as the official start‑partner for the first stage.

All 18 WorldTour teams are entered, joined by the Polish national squad and two Pro‑Continental squads, making a 21‑team startlist that features riders such as João Almeida, Michał Kwiatkowski, Jonathan Milan and Paul Magnier. The race will be televised live on Eurosport 2 and streamed on HBO Max, with Telewizja Polska providing domestic coverage; the broadcast is expected to reach viewers in about 65 countries.
