Tour du Limousin 2026 route announced

The 59th edition of the Tour du Limousin will take place from Tuesday, August 18, to Friday, August 21, 2026. The race will cover a total distance of 719.6 kilometers across four stages, traversing the Haute-Vienne, Creuse, Dordogne, and Corrèze regions.

Characterized by its hilly terrain, the race features approximately 11,000 meters of positive elevation gain. The stages are scheduled as follows:

• August 18: Veyrac to Dun-le-Palestel (174.9 km) • August 19: Salignac-Eyvigues to Lanouaille (184.2 km) • August 20: Saint-Privat to Égletons (181.8 km) • August 21: Nantiat to Limoges (178.7 km)

Defending champion Ewen Costiou of Groupama-FDJ United is a top contender as he seeks a consecutive victory. Other notable competitors include Aurélien Paret-Peintre of Decathlon CMA CGM and Alex Aranburu of Cofidis. The race also features biathlete Émilien Jacquelin, who will be participating in his first stage race.
