Touring Club Schweiz launches electric vehicle charging price radar

The Touring Club Schweiz (TCS) has launched a new 'charging price radar' tool within its mobile app to increase transparency for electric vehicle owners. The tool provides price comparisons for approximately 19,000 charging points located across nearly 9,000 stations throughout Switzerland.

To address challenges such as varying providers, limited payment options, and complex tariff models, the tool allows users to filter results by plug type, charging speed, power type, and provider. This functionality enables drivers to identify the most cost-effective options and locate stations that do not require subscriptions or additional fees.

A planned update for late October will introduce a feature allowing users to report price discrepancies or missing information directly through the app to improve data quality.
