Touring Superleggera unveils Veloce12 Aperta Ferrari restomod

To celebrate its 100th anniversary, Milan-based coachbuilder Touring Superleggera has unveiled the Veloce12 Aperta at Monterey Car Week. This high-end restomod is based on the Ferrari 550 Maranello and is designed as an exclusive open-top grand tourer for weekend travel.

The Veloce12 Aperta features a naturally aspirated 5.5-liter V12 engine producing approximately 523 to 530 hp, paired with a six-speed manual transmission. Moving away from modern hybrid and automated systems, the vehicle emphasizes mechanical purity. Instead of a traditional soft top, the car utilizes two lightweight, removable panels and features an aluminum hoop behind the cabin.

Designed for two people, the car includes 11.5 cubic feet of luggage space, complemented by bespoke luggage sets from Rimowa and leather cases from Giosa Milano. While official pricing has not been disclosed, estimates suggest the cost will exceed $428,000, excluding the price of the donor Ferrari.
