TOURISE Awards opens nominations for global tourism excellence

The second cycle of the TOURISE Awards has officially launched, seeking nominations for the world’s most influential tourism destinations. The awards aim to establish new global benchmarks by recognizing locations that offer distinctive, purpose-driven travel experiences and demonstrate responsible management.

Nominations are open to the public from September 1 to November 19, 2026. There are six award categories: Best Arts and Culture Destination, Best Adventure Destination, Best Food and Culinary Destination, Best Shopping Destination, Best Entertainment Destination, and a newly introduced category for Best Wellness Destination. A flagship ‘Best Overall Destination’ award will also be presented to the location that excels across all aspects of the traveler experience.

To be eligible, destinations must have a defined geographic scope, a distinct identity rooted in culture or landscape, and support from a tourism management organization. Winners will be honored during the TOURISE Awards ceremony, held alongside the TOURISE Summit in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from March 23–25, 2027.
