Tourism activity fluctuates in Argentina and Colombia

In Argentina, the La Trochita historic train is seeing increased visitor numbers as tourists arrive in the region for the tulip season. Travelers have highlighted the beauty of the tulip fields in Trevelin and the scenic mountain landscapes. Visitors noted that direct air connections have facilitated easier access to the Esquel area.

In Colombia, the Calitours platform is working to revitalize cultural and community tourism in Cali. The city has faced a significant decrease in bookings following an earthquake on August 10, which has impacted local guides, transporters, and small businesses. The platform aims to reconnect travelers with the city's cultural heritage through organized tours and digital booking tools.
