Tourism and cultural engagement rise in Gorizia and Morrovalle

Various Italian municipalities are reporting significant growth in tourism and cultural engagement. In Gorizia, the Ferragosto 2026 celebrations saw high attendance at local landmarks. The Gorizia Castle hosted over 500 visitors during its free admission period, while the Digital Art Gallery recorded more than 982 visitors. A free jazz concert at Palazzo De Grazia reached full capacity, attracting spectators from as far as Strasbourg and Munich.

In Morrovalle, Mayor Andrea Staffolani highlighted a substantial increase in tourism figures between 2020 and 2025. According to official Istat and regional data, the town saw a 72% increase in arrivals, rising from 4,044 to 6,959. International tourism experienced even more rapid growth, with foreign visitor presences increasing from 821 in 2020 to 5,218 in 2025, representing a rise of over 530%.
