Tourism and music sectors announce major 2026 events in Malaysia and Thailand

The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) has announced the speaker lineup for the PTM Knowledge Forum 2026. Scheduled for August 18 at the Sheraton Kuching Hotel in Sarawak, Malaysia, the forum will focus on the theme “The Next Era: Impactful Partnerships, Purposeful Growth.” The event aims to facilitate strategic dialogue regarding tourism innovation, sustainability, and destination development among industry leaders.

In the music sector, RaveDAO has announced a partnership with the 808 Festival for its 2026 edition. The festival is set to take place on October 2–3 at BITEC Bangkok in Thailand. The collaboration will integrate on-chain fan experiences, including digital ticketing and loyalty rewards via PLVR. The festival lineup includes artists such as ILLENIUM, W&W, and Argy.
