Tourism College students visit Varna Tourist Information Center

First-year students specializing in Tourism and Entertainment Business Management from the College of Tourism in Varna visited the Tourist Information Center (TIC). The visit aimed to familiarize future professionals with the center's role in promoting Varna as a year-round destination and providing information services to visitors and residents.

During the session, students learned about the municipal structure's operations, the official VISIT.Varna.bg portal, and regional advertising strategies. The visit also highlighted free walking tours organized by the Varna Municipality's Tourism Directorate in partnership with the Union of Guides in Bulgaria. To support their studies in excursion guiding, students were invited to participate in upcoming tours to gain practical experience.

The group included students from various Bulgarian cities, as well as international students from Turkey and Bessarabian Bulgarians from Ukraine who are studying in Varna. The initiative is part of an ongoing effort by the Varna Municipality to strengthen the link between academic education and professional practice in the tourism sector.
