Tourism development expands in Castellar and Alicante

Urban development projects are advancing in the Cádiz and Alicante regions of Spain. In Castellar, the municipal council has officially approved the urban planning bases for the Castellar Golf project. The development includes a hotel with at least four stars and 150 rooms, 100 tourist apartments, and a residential tourist zone with detached housing. The plan allocates over 36,000 square meters for construction and includes environmental measures such as water efficiency and the use of native species.

In Alicante, the hospitality sector is expanding near the city's cultural axis. The local company Lumibe 2018 has obtained a building license for a priority project to construct a two-star hotel-apartment complex on Valencia Street, adjacent to the bullring. This project will feature 66 units and a rooftop pool. Other developments in the area include the upcoming opening of an easyHotel and the planned arrival of the Accor chain's Hotel Greet.
