Tourism Malaysia promotes October 2026 travel experiences to GCC

Tourism Malaysia is promoting a variety of cultural, sporting, and luxury travel experiences specifically targeting travelers from the GCC region for October 2026.

Key sporting events include the Petronas Grand Prix of Malaysia (MotoGP) at the Sepang International Circuit from October 30 to November 1, National Sport Day 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, the KOKOL Ultra 2026 in Sabah, and the Sarawak International Dragon Boat Regatta.

Cultural highlights include the Borneo’s Victoria Lion Dance Championship in Labuan, the Festival Gendang Sarawak at the Kuching Waterfront, and the “Tatreez: Reclaiming Palestine Through Embroidery” exhibition at the Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia. The campaign emphasizes Malaysia's connectivity, visa facilitation, and diverse attractions ranging from Genting Highlands to pristine beaches.
